The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple is considered a literal house of the Lord by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Standing on the banks of the Snake River, the gleaming white temple serves as a beloved centerpiece of the city. The principal purpose of the temple is to provide ordinances and blessings to members in the region. Ordinances include endowment, marriage, and baptism.
Only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an active temple recommend are allowed to enter the inside of the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple.
